Hostess managers 75 percent

New York Bankruptcy Judge Robert Drain pressed Hostess Brands to enter into mediation with the bakers' union as a means of staving off the liquidation of the company and the
loss of thousands of jobs, including more than 1,400 in Illinois.
"My desire to do this is prompted primarily by the potential loss of over 18,000 jobs as well as my belief that there is a possibility to resolve this matter," Judge Drain said.
The U.S. Trustee frowned upon the company's "wind-down" plan, which includes sweet bonuses for managers and company insiders to the tune of up to 75 percent of annual pay for senior management.
