Southwestern Illinois School Campuses Placed On Lockdown, A U.S. Bank branch was robbed in O’Fallon, Illinois, Monday. The
branch is located at 400 S. Lincoln. The robber, described as a white
male in his early 20s, about 5’9”, 170lbs, reportedly gave the teller a
note demanding money. He implied he had a weapon but never displayed
one.
Because the robber fled on foot in an unknown direction, O’Fallon schools were temporarily placed on lock down. The lockdown has been canceled. The schools were with one to two blocks from bank and the high school is five blocks away.
O'Fallon Police have captured the suspect and now have him under arrest.
