Topless Painting Of Bea Arthur Sold For $9 Million
Topless Painting Of Bea Arthur Sold For $9 Million, John
Currin’s “Bea Arthur Naked,” a painting depicting a 69-year-old,
topless, saggy breasted Bea Arthur with a blank expression on her face,
was auctioned off
at Christie’s for nearly $2 million. The anonymous bidder bought the
painting for $1.9M over the phone. Hey, I feel ya. I would have
embarrassed to do it in person too. Bea Arthur never actually sat for the painting but the piece was still labeled historically significant. Said Christie’s spokesman Koji Inoue, “It’s radical to sexualize someone people think of as asexual.”
Well clearly that guy has never gone on Google and typed in “granny porn.”
If you want to take a look at what the full painting looks like, click here (NSFW) but before you do, tie your hands together to keep from furiously masturbating.
