Woman arrested after waitress handed her own ID
LAKEWOOD, Colo.—A woman is facing identity
theft charges after a waitress was handed her stolen driver's license
for identification by a customer at a Lakewood restaurant.
Brianna Priddy said her wallet was stolen on Feb. 13 during a night out with friends.
According to KUSA-TV ( http://tinyurl.com/bd2vhuv), someone used Priddy's identity to write hundreds of dollars in bad checks.
Police are not releasing the suspect's name because the case is still under investigation.
