Caroline Biden Niece arrested, US Vice President Joe Biden’s niece Caroline Biden, was arrested yesterday early in the morning in Manhattan after she clashed with police over a dispute she had with her roommate about rent money. This is according to what law enforcement told local media.

Caroline Biden, 26 years of age, was rushed to the hospital after allegedly falling sick at the 1st Precinct station. After some seven hours of being put in a jail cell, she was believed to have become
ill and was then sent to the hospital. She told cops she hadn’t taken her medication for a preexisting heart issue, a source said.

Reporters, who had been trying to gather information from her, got no answers from Biden as paramedics put her in the back part of the ambulance.

Biden and her roommate, Adrienne Reynolds, were fighting over rent money Biden owed, a law enforcement source told local media. Screaming and banging on the door took place, and she “got physical” with a police officer for jotting down the incident as a report, according to an unnamed source.

“The female officer started to fill out paperwork, and Biden objected to it and lunged at the female officer,” the source said, “She kind of swung at the officer. The male officer intervened and Biden became uncooperative and aggressive.”

She is set to appear in criminal court in the future as a desk appearance ticket had been issued to her on charges of misdemeanor obstruction of governmental administration, resisting arrest and harassment with physical contact.

The office of Vice President Biden refused to comment on the ordeal. One maintenance worker at the Desbrosses St. building claims that she works at an art gallery on the Upper East Side and her roommate and her share a one bedroom apartment.

The worker said her monthly rent is anywhere from three to five thousand dollars. He also made it clear that Biden’s roommate kicked her out last week for not handing in her share of the rent money. Caroline Biden is the daughter of Vice President Biden’s brother, James Biden Sr.
